Lab Technician – 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday, 2pm to 10pm)

Qualifications include a college degree in a science related field with familiarity with chemical instrumentation including AA, IC, and Karl Fischer Titrators.  The individual must be willing and flexible enough to work weekends and different shifts on occasion as well as have the ability and flexibility to coordinate multiple priorities.

The Lab Technician performs chemical and physical laboratory testing of salt products in accordance with specifications, requirements, and regulations.  The successful individual will utilize, calibrate, and maintain a wide variety of laboratory and testing equipment, while preparing and handling chemicals adhering to all safety and OSHA guidelines.    Other duties include maintaining all laboratory files, notes, tests and other related correspondence, communicating sampling requirements, and test results with other departments, and assisting with the general upkeep of the laboratory.

Help Wanted – 2nd and Swing Shift Electricians

The 2nd Shift Electrician works from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, Wednesday through Sunday (Monday and Tuesday Off).

The Swing Shift Electrician works from 2:00pm to 10:30pm on Monday and Tuesday, 10:00pm to 6:30am on Wednesday and Thursday, and 6:00 am to 2:30pm on Sundays (Friday and Saturday Off).

Qualifications include a high school diploma, successful documented training or schooling related to industrial electrical, with a minimum of 5 years related work experience in a production setting.  LME License preferred but not required. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and prints.  Experience in programming PLCs is preferred but not required.  The ideal applicant must also present sound judgement and reasoning, be detailed orientated, and have basic computer skills.

The Electrician is responsible for the facilities electrical systems, including, but not limited to, installations, troubleshooting, repairing, and identifying improvements.  They will change motors, switches, and other electrical components as well as repair equipment and perform preventative maintenance checks.

Shipping Supervisor – 1st  Shift (Monday – Friday, 6am to 2:30pm)

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree (A.S.) with 5 years of related manufacturing experience in a supervisory role or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.  The individual must be willing and flexible enough to work weekends and different shifts on occasion as well as have the ability to coordinate multiple priorities.

The Shipping Supervisor directly supervises union employees in accordance with company’s policies, applicable laws, and union contract language. This includes, but not limited to, training, planning, assigning, directing, disciplining, rewarding, and appraising assigned workforce.  The successful candidate must ensure the compliance of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), BRC (Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards), and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) regulations and procedures by holding the department/shift responsible for quality checks, documentation, and monitoring.  Other duties include ensuring the  effective operation of packaging, shipping and receiving areas to meet assigned goals as well as assisting shipping clerks and other personnel when needed to maintain consistent and efficient workflow.
